Philanthropy at Sigma Nu

What is Philanthropy?

Sigma Nu Fraternity emphasizes philanthropy as a core component of its mission to develop ethical leaders committed to the principles of Love, Honor, and Truth. This commitment is exemplified through the Helping Hand Initiative, established in 2004 as the fraternity's official philanthropic and service program. The initiative comprises two main elements: the Founders’ Month of Service, observed every April, and partnerships with various organizations to facilitate community engagement. Through these efforts, Sigma Nu encourages its members to actively participate in community service and philanthropic activities, fostering personal growth and leadership development.
